Christmas in January

On Saturday, I woke up bright and early (8am is considered early on the weekend) and went to BodyCombat, followed by BodyPump. I usually don’t work out on Fridays, so on Saturday I usually have extra energy to pull off a double-header.

After the gym, it was suddenly like Christmas all over again. It began with my beloved triple-shot soy latte, and then this:

My monthly Fix!

I discovered Stitch Fix last summer when I read about it over at The Fitnessista.  After my first fix, I was in love.

There is just something so fun and exciting about getting a mystery box of clothing that someone else picked out for you–it’s like having your own personal stylist!

My very first Stitch Fix purchase!

After trying on my 5 items, I decided to keep this warm, cozy oversize sweater (which I can definitely use with the winter we’ve been having!) and these two dresses (love the elephant print on the black and white dress!)

Right as my Stitch Fix buzz was starting to wear off, enter Target.

I had a couple gift cards from Christmas that had been burning a hole in my pocket, and I really needed a new sports bra. Good news! I found not one but two new sports bras, per the Target trap.

 

And…a few additional items.

I almost bought similar boots at DSW a few weeks ago for double the price–glad I waited!

 

These capris are reversible so it’s really like two pairs in one–score!!

I bought a similar shirt from Free People a few months ago for 3x the price, and ended up returning because the sleeves were a bit too short on me, and I actually prefer the Target version (It comes in gray, cream, and pink as well!)

I usually wear thick headbands for workouts, mostly to cover up the fact that I haven’t washed my hair in a couple days.  I bought these thin headbands for days when my hair is mostly acceptable for viewing by the general public.

This one is a little embarrassing. I am a mascara junkie.

I used to eat Larabars all the time and I always wished they had more protein. Well, my prayers were answered with the Larabar ALT bars that have 10 grams of vegan protein. The peanut butter cookie flavor is my fav!

As if Stitch Fix and Target weren’t enough, I came home to find new shoes on my doorstep. Justin had bought these for me online as a Christmas gift, not realizing that they were on backorder until January. Oh well, it’s kind of nice having Christmas extended into January:)
